Another Wildlife SIG outing to Rookery Island
July 15, 2018 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am
$30Kayak outing starting at 8am at Coastal Kayak, to little rookery island in Little Assawoman Bay.
CCC Wildlife SIG Kayak to Rookery
Set Up for Sunday, July 15th at 8 am
The past kayak outings we had to the little rookery Island this past year with Coastal Kayak was so enjoyed by our members. That it was expressed to have another outing. The grasses on the island are taller now But, so many of the egrets seem to like to hang out in the tree.
So, I would like to propose an outing on Sunday, July 15th, at 8am starting at Coastal Kayak, On Coastal Highway, just north of Fenwick Island on the Bay side. Till approx. 10:00am. The tour will be provided by Coastal Kayak and led by a CK Tour guide. The tour will go off the CK Beach in Little Assawoman Bay, across to the little rookery island. We will have time to shoot from kayak around the island and then paddle back to Coastal Kayak. Please plan to arrive at Coastal Kayak about 15 minutes early, so we can get out asap.
The Cost is $30 per person. To Reserve a spot, please contact call us at 302.539.7999 or book online Fenwick DE Kayak Tours, Paddleboard Rentals, Eco-Tours | Coastal Kayak
|
The tour is listed as the "Point of Cedars Photography Tour (for CCC members only)".
You will just need to First , click the "Book now" tab. Then click on kayak and paddleboard tours. Next, click kayak tours. The Point of Cedars is towards the bottom. The coupon code is the same, CCC18, and put it in right below where they add the kayak choice and phone number (of course it is in small print!).
And then you will want to make sure and put ccc18 in the "promotions" tab to get the discounted rate.
CK has dry bags that you can put your camera in while paddling. If this is your first time kayaking, I would suggest you don’t bring a big expensive camera. Bring a small point and shoot that you can protect, just in case. It is always best to practice and get comfortable in kayak before bringing too much along with you.
There is a maximum number of 12 participants to have the tour. So, please respond to this e-mail if you would like to take part on July 15, 8am, at Coastal Kayak,
Thanks,
Ken
